Happenings: Philippine Fashion Week 2014 Spring Summer (with photos)

If you have not read my previous blog entry, I posted that I am going to the Philippine Fashion Week 2014 at SMX Convention Center in MOA that happened yesterday. Actually, the event was a week long but I was only able to attend the Men's collection because it's my rest day from work.

Guess what, I attended the most glamorous event in the Philippines without sleep and still haggard from the office. I only managed to wash my face, put on my contacts and conceal my huge zit on my nose. lol!

Before the event, I had huge problems. First is my mobile phone. It was automatically reformatted itself so at work, I need to set it up and download necessary applications that I will be needing during the event such as instagram and other micro blogging sites.

Going to the Philippine Fashion Week 2014 Spring/Summer!

That is the longest blog post title ever but it's all worth it! This is going to be my second time to attend fashion week. Last May, I also attended to support my friend's friend, Drei Soriano and it felt like a culture shock for me. I love dressing up and mixing clothes to come up with a new look but fashion week is different. People there are different. Their style is somewhat peculiar but still, cool. There was this fat guy who dressed up like Jughead from the comic book "Archie" with matching black crown on his head. Weird and funny indeed.

My Hair Bleaching Experience (with photos)

Hi. I just woke up and the time now in my area is 6:23 am. I fell asleep a little bit early last night because I was not feeling well. My throat and sinus feels dry and it was like I am too thirsty so I took 2 tablets of vitamin C to prevent myself from having a flu.

Anyway, I posted something yesterday before I go to the salon. It's about me bleaching my hair blonde! I was really scared and excited at the same time because this is going to be my first time to undergo a bleaching process!

Before going to the salon, I have read several articles and some do's and don'ts before bleaching the hair. Someone wrote that you should not take a bath before you bleach your hair so there is natural hair oils to protect your hair so that's what I did. In the salon, they washed and shampooed my hair. So, it's useless. lol!

And I am feeling scared and excited at the same time about this weird and sudden decision of me bleaching my hair. I don't know maybe I am just bored with everything right now. You know, I am only getting few decent emails from advertisers/ clients for my blog so it's not really exciting for me to check on it. I wonder why now? Now that I am blogging almost every week! Blogging world and getting sponsors are really complicated so for those people who keep on asking how can I get blog adverts, sponsors, clients and some collaboration, my answer is: I DON'T EXACTLY KNOW!

Before when I was on a long hiatus for like 4 or 5 months without posting a single blog entry, I got more than 10 emails from advertisers asking me to do something for them for some dollars. But now that I am committing myself again in blogging and reviewing things, I get nothing... well, few like 2 in a month. *lame*

I love visiting new places and capturing great scenic views using my camera and of course, posting my whole experience here on my blog; it is like re-experiencing everything the time I am in front of my computer editing some pics and doing my write-up.

This is, travelling might cost a lot of money. If you are going to travel in the Philippines for example, 5,000 pesos might not be enough for you to enjoy what the city has to offer.

I love this film! I think the first part of this film was shown before when I was in high school and I did not give a shoot about it until last month, one of my colleagues keep on blabbing about it so that made me decide to watch it. I am not really a fan of films like this but I enjoyed it. Related to it.. well maybe a little bit.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs is about the story of a science inventory who always fail. I think what I like about it is it inspires people to do what they really want in their lives. It's about pursuing dreams no matter of how many times you failed.
