I think this is the first time that I post something about laptop because I am still quite satisfied with what I am using now. I have been receiving a lot of questions with regards to my post about ABS-CBN TV Plus Magic Black Box. I am not sure if you already read my post about it but overall, just like 99% of the consumers, I was disappointed. Well, at first, I was very happy because I was able to watch not just KAPAMILYA'S channels but also other's like TV 5, GMA 7 and GMA News TV but after their first mandatory update, everything was lost. 

Aside from ABS-CBN, there are other channels but mostly are not really entertaining like 24/7 bible verses or people singing praises or talking about religion. Those are nonsense. I am sorry but I don't need those. I did not pay for those. If I want to have a word from god, I have bible at home.

A lot of people also ask me if there are ways to get more channels like MYX TV and even CARTOON NETWORK unfortunately, those are exclusive for cable. If you will ask me about some tips, I apologize because I don't have an answer to that. A year ago, I dumped my black box and paid for a cable connection with internet access.

LOOK FOR A BETTER SPOT 

If your room is tiny just like mine, make sure you put the antenna outside your window or on to a higher spot because I tried it before and it made a small difference.

CHECK YOUR LOCATION

I also lived in a crowded place somewhere in Taguig City and I think the network is clogged over there that is the reason my phone signal is too weak. If phone signal is affected because of too many users in the same area that you are in, it could also affect the digital signal you receives from your black box.

SEEK I.T HELP!

I have read an article before where they were able to unlock their TV Plus by using a computer system and that allows them to get more TV channels. I heard that ABS-CBN removed other channels because of the rivalry so unlocking the device itself is really the way solution for this. I will try to get the contact information of that person so I could share it with you guys.

Hello again. So I decided to publish another episode guide of my new favorite Korean  drama series entitled, The Legend of the Blue Sea starring Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun. It is a story of a never-ending relationship bond of a mermaid who fell in love with a human from a different world. If you love mermaid films and shows with a korean twist and turns, then this show is for you!

The reason why I decided to followup my first ever post about this show is because the number of positive feedback that I received from the facebook page I created dedicated for the show. If you want some updates, please like The Legend of the Blue Sea Facebook page.

There is no available videos for Episode 3 yet so I don't have an idea what is going to happen in the story but if you will remember, Episode 2 ended with a kiss. Shim Chung pushed Heo Joon-Jae on the cliff to get away from those armed goons who will kill Joon-Jae. As usual, Shim Chung to the rescue for her beloved human.

I am not sure if JJ will remember what he saw before SC kissed him but I am thinking that he won't remember a thing.

There was also a glimpse for Episode 3 and it looks like JJ and SC went to Seoul, Korea. There was also this lady who works with artifacts who discovered this antique vase or jar that has a mermaid kissing a human print (Maybe Shim Chung from a different time with the noble guy who saved her named, Dam-Lim). Not entirely sure how she is connected to the story.

PS. I also read something online that Shim Chung goes to Seoul, Korean however Joon-Jae loses his memory. This is going to be sad if this is true. Hope not.

I am not really a huge fan of Korean drama but there are few that I watched until the end. Mostly, they are all about tragic love story that I think pretty normal for Korean story. The Legend of the Blue Sea is a story of a playful mermaid who fell in love with a dangerous guy living a risky lifestyle on land.

So far, there are 2 available episodes online and I am already connected with the story of the main casts. It is funny and interesting at the same time. There are no dull moment and each scene will make you crave for more of it. You will keep y on asking yourself what is going to happen in the next 5 minutes of the story and that is what I like about it.

The Legend of the Blue Sea also introduced us to two different time and two different love stories, bonded by fate. The first five minutes of episode 1 and episode 2 gave us a glimpse of the story of the mermaid who was saved by Dam Lim also played by Lee Min Ho.

In a nutshell, Episode 1 just introduced us to two different time showing how a mermaid was saved by a noble man and that created a bond between a mortal man and a mermaid. And that bond will never be separated ever again. Shim Chung and Heo Joon-Jae also met in the modern world and all the weird things happened. Joon-Jae trying to know the identity of Shim Chung and Shim Chung, the mermaid falling in love with Joon-Jae. Everything is all mixed up and the fact that Joon-Jae is also being chased by a mob that he scammed big time!

Episode 2 also revolves around the misadventures of Shim Chung and Joon-Jae. I forgot to mention that in episode 1, Joon-Jae stole the jade bracelet of Shim Chung that lets her transform to a human while she is on land but in episode 2, Joon-Jae actually felt guilty and gave it back to her while she was sleeping despite the fact that the bracelet worth a lifetime. Talking about love already.

Joon-Jae is still being chased by a lot of men-- dead or alive. Luckily, Shim Chung was with him and big thanks to her super kick and punch Joon-Jae is still alive.

Episode 2 ended when JJ and SC were cornered by the armed goons then SC pushed JJ on the cliff for them to get away with them. They fell in the ocean and JJ saw SC swimming towards him. Memories of how he met SC flashed back and SC kissed JJ.

I have been using ASUS Zenfone 3 5.5 for almost a month now and was able to try its amazing features but when it comes to some other things like its camera, I can say that I am still learning a lot of things about it especially using its manual settings. I always take pictures using its AUTO mode but there were times when I think that using the MANUAL mode can really make a big difference. One of which was last week during the Supermoon phenomena. I tried my best in capturing that huge bright moon, unfortunately, I did not have any decent shot unlike my friends who also use Zenfone.

By the way, I joined this group in Facebook where members share their tips in using their ASUS mobile phones. They also share some of their amazing shots of the supermoon and some star photography which was unbelievable. At first, I thought that some of the pictures were enhanced by Photoshop or whatever. While reading the member's posts, I read something about tweaking the manual camera mode's ISO and Shutter speed but during that time, I don't have any idea what they were talking about.

So I searched some of the important things to remember when you are using your camera's manual settings. I think this is not for ASUS Zenfone 3 users only but also for any phones that has the same camera feature.

In general, there are 5 things that you can tweak on your camera's manual setting. These are the ones below:

WHITE BALANCE

This is to balance the photo's temperature. You can tweak it it so that the photo can look warmer or colder. Has something to do with yellowish and bluish vibes when you capture images.

ISO (PHOTOSENSITIVITY)

This is one of the settings that I really want to focus on because I saw a photo of dark sky full of stars that was taken using Zenfone 3 devices and it was unbelievable! I think the owner set the ISO up to 3200 in order to achieve that image. It all makes sense now because high ISO works perfectly for low light subject (even no light at all!).

SHUTTER SPEED

The first time that I tried tweaking shutter speed is when I was stuck in traffic and the result was weird. LOL! But if you will be able to use it properly, you can achieve amazing photos with moving objects like this one below.

FOCUS

This is the easiest setting because I use this a lot since I love taking macro shots! It is also fun to play with! If you are a blogger, especially a food blogger, this is something you must know by heart to capture those tiny details.

I am not able to explain some of the things that we can play with in our ASUS phone because I really don't understand how they work so if you have some tips, feel free to share it with us!

Ever since I bought my new phone ASUS Zenphone 3 5.5, I started downloading games that I never tried before since my old phone cannot handle its memory capacity. But with my Zenfone 3's powerhouse specs, I can now download a lot of games that require huge amount of RAM. Then I stumbled upon this very addicting game called Spirit Monster. For iPhone users, it is called Pokeland.

I think this game is way better than Pokemon Go since it does not require walking and going out of your home.

A friend of mine told me that Spirit Monster is an unofficial game and not licensed so there is a big chance that it will crash down at any time because it is using some Pokemon characters that are not approved by The Pokemon Company. I have been playing this game for a while now but so far, I have not experienced any downtime with its servers. Everything is going smoothly.

In this game, your main goal is to stop the Team Rocket in stealing and experimenting Pokemon in destroying the world. You have to catch and train a team of strong monsters to surpass every tasks given by random people within the game.

You can easily level up by fighting other players and defeating all monsters in a different battle field so it is advisable to train pokemons with unique elemental powers. 

What I like about this game is its AUTO feature where you don't have to click your phone screen all the time especially when you are fighting because you just have to activate AUTO feature and then voila, just watch your monsters fight and win.

SPIRIT MONSTER (POKELAND) GAME TIPS AND TRICKS

You really don't need a game walkthrough here because you have the option to activate its AUTO functionality where you can just watch your character go and talk to the correct person unlike the old versions of Pokemon game. But in order to level up fast, you have to remember these few things.

FINISH ALL TASKS

On the right part of your mobile screen, there are few tasks that you need to accomplish. Simply click on the specific task and it will automatically direct you on what to do. Mostly, it will just ask you to fight with other monsters. In this case, your monster can have a lot of EXP to level up and at the same time, you can also get great amount of game coins, diamonds and other item surprises.

GO TO TRIAL

You can see this on the upper right corner of your screen where you can fight with other players, collect crystals and also, fight the WORLD BOSS that can give you tons of EXP's and money. In the Philippines, WORLD BOSS opens at exactly 8:00 PM so better participate. Just activate the AUTO function and watch your monsters become stronger each day.

INCREASE MONSTER'S FRIENDSHIP LEVEL

You can increase your monster's friendship level by giving them items that they like. The higher the friendship level is, the stronger power your monster will get and when it reaches level 20, your pet will also learn new skills that can definitely make them unbeatable.

DO NOT FORGET TO RAID

You can raid items on the level that you finished already. This is very helpful when it comes to increasing your monster's friendship level because some items that they like are very rare so you really have to do extra stuff to get what they want.

Months ago, my cousin introduced me to this Youtuber called Piewdiepie where he makes random youtube videos. Sometimes, he does random stuff his subscribers ask him to do. This October, with the help of Outerminds, they came up with a mobile game app called Piewdiepie Tuber Simulator where you, as a player will make your way on becoming the next Youtube sensation just like Piewdiepie!

In this game, you will start as a nobody youtuber living in a small room with nothing in it. But as you publish more viral videos and attract viewers and subscribers, you can start purchasing funky items like room decorations, plants, pets (cats, pugs, dinosaurs and even weird looking things!).

In the Philippines, Pokemon Go is the newest game that makes people go out in the real world and catch pokemon in the virtual world. I myself is so into and willing to walk for how many kilometers just to catch or just see a rare pokemon. With the help of my ever reliable pokemon incense, I am able to catch pokemons easily while walking and sometimes, while I am working in my room. So I am thinking if there is a way to get an unlimited incense so I can lure in more pokemons compared to the usual number of pokemons you encounter?

THE ANSWER IS, YES THERE IS.

This post if for those pokemon go players who are still looking for some of the rare pokemons. Applicable to me as well. I have been to different places now but still unavailable to see pokemons that I am aiming to catch. I have been seeing a lot of my friends on facebook getting frustrated about this error message on google playstore, "Your device isn't compatible with this version.". So I searched for some ways on how to download pokemon go on mobile devices with lower specs so that they can join the pokemon bandwagon.

Last Saturday, I was able to download the application on my phone's playstore. At first, there was an error saying that pokemon go isn't available to my country so what I did was I used a dummy gmail account that is based in the United Kingdom. Surprisingly, it worked!

So it is official. Pokemon Go just went available to some other countries and that includes here in the Philippines. Right after I saw the twitter status of Nintendo saying that Pokemon Go has added additional countries, I immediately downloaded the app on Playstore and luckily, everything went fine without using any dummy account from a different country.

I already caught bunch of pokemons like Zubat,Ghastly and more inside the house using the lure feature where you can easily attract pokemons even without walking that much. Unfortunately, I was able to use all my lure and planning to buy some more at the shop. I think that costs 80 pesos. Quite affordable.

In choosing the right mobile phone, there are so many things that needs to consider. Personally, what I always choose is the phone that has amazing features, longer battery life and most of all, has the best camera that I can use for my blog post. I don't always bring my digital camera with me especially if I go to work so in times where I need to capture random beautiful stuff, at least I have my every reliable mobile phone.

That goes my list, guys. Choosing the right phone can be really tricky but if you have a checklist of all the things that you want to have on your next phone, then it is going to be a piece of cake. Always keep in mind that investing in a good mobile is worth it since it has almost all the things that you need in a daily basis, getting in touch with your loved ones via sms/call, entertainment and if you love taking selfies or do some mobile photography for your journal or blog, then investing is going to be worthwhile.

If you are really into blogging, you might want to invest with a camera that you can always rely on. This is a must not just for food and fashion bloggers because all in all, having a camera that you can carry wherever you go is very important. Sometimes, phone camera is not that reliable anymore because most of the time, the quality of the photos can ruin a good blog post.

For me, I have been using VSCO cam whenever I don't bring my camera with me. Photos can be good sometimes depending on the lighting, easy to manipulate the image but nothing compared to using a real camera.

I know this is kind of late but I just had the time to blog something about PokemonGo being blocked in most countries and that includes here in the Philippines. In my previous post, I was exhilarated after I downloaded the app on my samsung phone. It was the apk that I got  on the website that my friend gave me the day that it was released. I thought everyhing will work fine because I was able to catch my very first pokemon already, a wild squirtle!

And so, it is official. We are not gonna be able to play PokemonGo for now because even if you have the app installed to your phone, whether it is iOS or android, it's overall function will never work for now. You can walk all you want but you will never see or catch a single pokemon.

I was thinking if there is a way on how to unblock PokemonGo and still be able to play it in our country. I have read a post somewhere that you can create another account in Playstore or Apple Store using a different country like for example in the US or New Zealand where PokemonGo is available but of course, you have to have a home address there including the ZIP code. I am not sure if it works though but so far, I don't see anyone from the Philippines who caught a single pokemon other that the first one that they initially got. So I doubt that this work. I was so excited after I downloaded my very own Pokemon Go using my Samsung A5, an android phone. I know this is not yet available for most of android and apple devices and it needs a special trick just to get it from your phone. It is risky though and you have to try it at your own risk! I tried searching for it on my Google Playstore but it is not yet available. Thanks to apkmirror website where I downloaded it for free. So generous of them! :)

I was able to install it and create my character, then caught my very first pokemon after walking around the house. I got Squirtle!

I wanted to get Charmander but I guess Squirtle would be okay.

I tried walking around the house some more but I could not find any pokemon anymore. Will just try walking around BGC tomorrow after work and let's see if I can see some pokemon trainers or wild pokemons that I can catch just like in the game.

I asked my friend on facebook messenger if there is an update with his pokemon go app but he was also not able to see anything in his map. I was just worried because he tried it on his way home so there could be a problem.

I am not expecting a lot though because I think the map here in the Philippines is not yet activated unlike in New Zealand, Japan and in the United States. I also heard that the game will not be released in many countries and that includes Philippines. Not sure how true this rumor is.

Although I have the games installed in my Android phone, I am still not sure how does it work. I don't even know how to catch other pokemons or fight nearby pokemon trainers in my area or buy stuff like potion, pokeballs, antidotes and more.

My roomate also tried to download it on his ASUS phone but it is not working properly because his phone has an Intel Processor and I guess pokemon go is not compatible with it.

I myself wants to become a Financial Advisor because I have friends who do that for a living and I can say that they can balance their work and personal life in a daily basis. I also love the fact that they hold their own time. I mean they just report to their office but most of the time, they are outside doing some field work or meeting their respective clients.

One day, I started asking myself, how to become a Financial Advisor? The nature of my job right now has something to do with insurance but we cater for Canadian residents. It is more on the backbone of the system I believe and I think. it is something that does not qualify in becoming a legit Advisor.

I saw this viral Facebook video just now posted by a netizen named Erika Mae Balagtas. I thought it was just a video of a girl who just broke up with her long-time boyfriend named Mark Aaron Hernandez. Well, I was right. It was their video but it has a shocking twist though.

Looks like a typical caption from a girl who broke up with her boyfriend but when you watch the said video until the end, it seems that she got dumped because of Mark Aaron Hernandez kissed a guy and he liked it.

Funny for some but for those concerned people, it is too personal that should not be on Facebook. Most comments I have read are against the girl who posted the video. They said that Erika Mae is just bitter and cannot accept the fact that Mark Aaron has a photo kissing a guy and he seemed liking it. 

Well for me, I guess the video is to get even to the guy involved. Bitterness is also included. Just accept it, girl.

After couple of hours, a girl named Charlene Mendoza posted something on her Facebook timeline tagging Mark Aaron and Erika Mae. Charlene is Mark's sister who is trying to defend her brother. Look at the post below.

Here is the deal, my TV decided not to work all of a sudden so I am pretty bored right now. I kind of missed watching my favorite TV shows and some random movies on my cable TV. I decided to try Netflix's one month free trial so I can somehow catch up with the shows I gave been following for months now. Everything was doing great;I have my paypal with some cash on it that will not be billed not until after one month and I can also cancel my Netflix subscription anytime I will not be billed maybe on my 29th day of using it.

Unfortunately, Netflix is now asking for a credit card information that must be linked to my Paypal account and I don't have a credit card. I don't have plans in getting one because I believe that it is the root of all debts of all people in the world. Do you think you are rich because you have a credit card? You better think again and think of all the things you have partially bought with it and all the interest you have to pay in the end. It is a cycle of you being sink to ocean of debts!

I am not sure what happened to my TV today. I think it has decided not to work all of a sudden! So I was watching earlier while having my breakfast then all of a sudden, the screen turned all black. I thought I accidentally put the TV on sleep mode as I always do but this time, it won't turn on anymore. I did everything that I could but nothing is happening. :(

Tomorrow is the deadline for me to pay my Cignal Cable and I am thinking if I will still pay for it. I mean budget is tight for a brand new TV. I have PLDT internet but still, my day will never be complete without watching my favorite movies and TV shows on my TV screen.

So I was wondering if I could use my Laptop as a TV? I mean are there cables that I can use so I can use my laptop with Cignal cable wires so I can use it as a laptop and TV at the same time? I know it sounds funny but I am curious about it.

I have read somewhere that a TV Turner can actually be used for me to turn my laptop into a television but not really aware on how to use it. If I could watch a video tutorial about it somewhere. If you know how to do it, please send me a message.

From the homepage of your account, you can see different tabs on top of their website. To start paying your bill, select Payments & Reloading > Bills Payment > Pay Bills Today. 

I had a hard time choosing the option for me to pay CIGNAL TV because it is not really clear on their website on how to add an active merchant source for a check free payment

So if you visited my blog for that problem that I just encountered, well don't worry because I am going to teach you how to add an active merchant source in your BPI Express Online account.

Let us start by hovering your mouse to Payments & Reloading > Bills Payment > Enroll All Other Bills.

You will be asked to fill out a form such as your ATM card number, Joint Account Indicator or JAI, Company name and lastly, your account number. In my case, I have selected CIGNAL TV INC. Additional detail like my email address was also confirmed during the process. Finally, click the submit button.

After hitting the submit button, you can now proceed to paying your bills by choosing Payments & Reloading > Bills Payment > Pay Bills Today. Enter the desired amount then voila, bills paid!

I am still not sure if I am going to buy iPhone SE because I am still thinking if I am gonna avail a postpaid plan from either Globe or Smart but this time, for iPhone 6 or 6 plus. I kind of prefer bigger phones because I think it offers more especially in managing my blog and business all at the same time whenever I am out of my house.
