I have read a news about the proposition of Kuh Ledesma regarding the acts of foreign singers or performers here in the Philippines. She wants to regulate the concerts of foreign performers like musicians in our country. Ledesma said that lawmakers must protect the filipino artist that are experiencing a huge hindrance from foreign artists.


Kuh Ledesma will be having her concert this coming February 12 and 13 at the PICC along with the hit makers such as Rico J. Puno, Marco Sison, Dr. Nonoy Zuñiga, and composer-singer Rey Valera. This will be the first time Kuh Ledesma perform with the hit makers. Their concert will be held after the concert of Taylor Swift. Take note that the concert tickets for Taylor Swift are already sold out. This is a threat for Ledesma.

In my opinion, Lawmakers cannot stop the interest of filipino people nowadays. The generation today is changing so fast. Filipino people's interest in music is changing too. They want something new and they want something that filipino artists can't provide. If you want to be watched and loved by your countrymen, then do something new!
