To stay healthy and fit in a toxic environment is not an easy task for everyone. It takes a lot of effort and money to buy and produce things that can help you to stay fit and healthy. Living in a city like Metro Manila where I live for my college degree, life is not that easy. Noisy and polluted streets, toxic from the pressure of college requirements and lack of extra time to have some work outs to prevent us from having a weak body.
So here are the things I always do here in a toxic environment. I am not saying that I am doing the right thing and I am not saying that I am healthy and perfectly strong to get rid off harmful effects of living in this kind of environment.
I used to hate eating vegetables when I was a kid but now, I realized that eating these green and colorful veggies can really help you being healthy and strong. My mom always cook a vegetable dish at least twice a week to balance our diet.
Ahhh! My favorites! These are the opposites of my treatment for veggies. I love eating fruits especially oranges, grapes and watermelon. Eating fruits can help you sustain your body with vitamins like vitamin-C.
So if you are living in an area that has a toxic chemicals or pollution, you must also take time to work out and eat healthy and nutritious foods.
