The number one search engine on Earth chose veteran marketing manager who is a graduate from Ateneo de Manila University; he is none other than Kenneth Lingan. Kenneth also works for Unilever as the Vice President for their Deodorant product in Southeast Asia and ANZ. Aside from that, he is also the marketing director of the same company, Unilever Home and Personal Care in the Gulf Region (GLF).

According to Lingan during one of the interviews, “The Philippines is fast digitizing, and I am very much inspired by the possibilities that Google can bring our users, advertisers, and publishers here. I’m delighted to be part of Google’s journey in the Philippines, helping to bring tools and products that make a meaningful impact in people’s lives and enabling businesses to make the most of the Internet to grow their enterprise,
Google truly believes that Kenneth has what it takes to be their new country manager as his 16 years of exposure in this kind of industry is really an asset for the company.

Meanwhile, after reading article, I can't help myself not to ask on how to work for Google here in the Philippines? I know there are contact centers/ call centers that cater Google products but as much as possible, I want to experience the real thing like working in one of their local offices. And that leads me to their website where you can find several careers or job openings that might fit your skills. I applied for some of the slots so if you are also dreaming working for the search engine giant in the world, apply as early as now!
