Free Internet Promo Technique That Allows You To Play Online Games
December 29, 2015
I love playing online games especially those that are Role Playing Games or RPG as it allows users to interact with different people from all over the world. It creates this bond that only gamer can understand. Some built stronger level of friendship outside the virtual world and some literally got married virtually.
The problem here in the Philippines is that internet users can only get limited amount of internet per month because of our top telco's Fair Use Policy or FUP. It means that if they use higher amount of internet in a daily basis, their internet connection will be capped or slower than usual that browsing google's website can take a few minutes.
The seo noob within me is now back sharing some information in attracting organic blog traffic while sharing some helpful insight about a specific topic like this for example. Bypass Globe FUP is a keyword that is most searched according to the Google Trend. A breakout as describe!
As of today, there is only 6,450 websites fighting for this keyword (not bad for a breakout keyword). If this will continue and with the proper set up of some optimization techniques, there is a higher chance of me, getting on top the search engines out there! I am expecting additional monthly visitors in this blog alone and it means more income in 2016!
Fast APN Settings for Globe & Smart To Use for Faster Game Experience
February 23, 2015
For now, I am using both of my GLOBE and SMART LTE sim cards and they work differently because there are specific locations where Globe LTE is faster compared to my Smart LTE prepaid; vice versa and now, I am currently playing some online games using my laptop; just started Clash of Clans on my PC for better screen resolution but whenever I use any of my LTE sim cards, the game tends to load so slow and that is sort of testing my patience.
If you can still remember, I have posted some fast APN settings for the top ISP's in the Philippines such as Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular but I think the effect of these APN settings still depends on your location and the number of people who are also using the same service as yours but this is just my speculations and it might not be true.
So now I am kind of wondering if there are APN settings or configurations I can use for gaming purposes. I understand that online games such as Clash of Clans takes a lot of time to load even on smartphones that are connected to wifi, depending in your server but still, I am crossing my fingers for this.
I will definitely let you know once I have found something.
In my previous blog entry, I mentioned that I have bought a Smart prepaid LTE sim card that I will be using on my smartphone hoping that is is faster than my Globe LTE sim. My place is in Pembo Makati, near Market Market and SM Aura so I thought that internet connection was faster here since it is like the center of the city. But I was wrong.
I cannot even update my blog in a daily basis and most of the time, I am being disconnected even on Facebook Messenger! How was that?
Before I make another move about my internet speed in my area now, I am trying to look for some alternatives on how I can make it a bit faster. Faster so I could update my blog often, blog hop and check my email in an hourly basis.
Btw, I am using my Globe LTE sim card being tethered from my phone. Also, I am back usingmy Smart Buddy sim for my broadband since I can hardly connect to my hotspot. Too bad, I know.
Sorry for the lack of update guys because I am still busy sorting things out since I just moved into a new place somewhere in BGC. The place is nice, my pad is just okay for myself since I rarely have a visitor.
I have rented this lovely pad at Pembo, Makati which is near SM Aura and Market! Market. Very accessible and secured as well.
That is correct. I have accidentally bypassed my 3GB monthly data limit on my SUPERSURF999 subscription. First of all, I decided to make a series of blog post with regards to my experiences with Globe's internet subscription since I always have something to say about its interesting and deceiving policy that should never exist.
Quick recap, SUPERSURF999 allows its users to browse the internet for one whole month but wait, there is more. It is unlimited BUT there is a limit. It is 800MB everyday and 3GB for a month whichever comes first. If you have reached your limit, your signal will be lowered down to 2G so loading pages from different websites or even gooogle will be ultra mega super slow. That is what they call, Fair Usage Policy. FU, Globe Telco!
Since PLDT has some billing issues, I have decided to cancel my myDSL account early in October and thought of not trying any postpaid plans when it comes to my internet connection because I have tried all of them already; SmartBro Wimax, Globe, Sun Broadband, PLDT and even the worse of them, WiTribe.
As you can see, I have been trying to survive my blogging hobby by means of using my mobile hotspot. Thanks to Globe's prepaid internet promos like SUPERSURF.
Hello you guys! I am quite surprised that I can still update all of my blogs now that I am in the province. I am currently located in Cabangan, Zambales where I grew up til I stayed in Manila for College. So before I talk about some nonsense stuff, I want to greet all of you a happy holiday! Wishing you all nothing but the best! :)
So right now, I am connected to my Globe prepaid SUPERSURF50 and I have 3 devices connected to my mobile hotspot; 2 smartphones (one downloading stuff online and one connected to Skype for some overseas chitchats), and finally my laptop to update all of my blogs so I can still earn some dollars even on a holiday season. Isn't it great?
It has been two weeks since I registered to one of Globe's prepaid promos, SUPERSURF200 with 5 days of unlimited internet access. I don't have a problem with the connection speed because I am not a heavy user; as long as I can open my email, update my blog from time to time and check my other social networking sites like WeChat, Instagram etc,
SUPERSURF200 is one of the amazing internet promo of Globe wherein you will be registered to a 5-days unlimited internet access. You can do it by texting SUPERSURF200 then send to 8888. Today is my 4th day already and I am doing everything that I could to maximize my unlimited internet.
In my previous post, I asked if there is a data capping or Fair Usage Policy included in this specific promo and the answer is; Yes there is a data limit for 800 MB daily!
Technically, what happened was I have reached my 800 MB limit during the afternoon so Globe texted me and said:
GLOBE Advisory:Your data subscription for today has reached 800mb. Your remaining browsing hours will resume tomorrow subject to promo validity. You may opt to forfeit your remaining subscription to browse for P5/15 or you may dial *143# for FREE and press “CALL” to register to any surfing promo. To unsubscribe text SUPERSURF STOP or POWERSURF STOP to 8888.Guided by Globe Acceptable Use Policy. -8888After I received the text, I noticed that my internet became ultra slower I cannot even open this blog using my phone's hotspot. I know Globe's internet is slow but it became 10x slower. Good thing is that after 2 midnight, my internet connection came back to what's normal.
Right now, since my PLDT connection is still not working, I am thinking of registering to SUPERSURF999 for an unlimited internet for 1 month or maybe I will try Smart maybe it is faster.
Can you share your experiences about this data capping or Fair Usage Policy of Globe and all other telecomms?
